Slow to blow her trumpet, Annie B was honoured by Vejer de la Frontera for the attention she has brought to the local cuisine. After a presentation by the Mayor of Vejer, a celebration of wine and tapas took place in La Casa del Cultura where local bars and restaurants brought in fabulous tapas to keep this culinary queen in her element.

In her thank you speech she made a special mention to everyone who has opened up their kitchens to her and shared their family recipes – most of which had never been written down – only passed from mother to daughter for generations.
The most special mention was for Pepi – the TOP cocinera at Annie B's Spanish Kitchen.
